Carlos Moreno has lived half his life under socialism and the other half under freedom.

Born in Venezuela, he came to the United States as an international student to enhance his higher education.  

Venezuela had fallen into the hands of a socialst regime.  The once prosperous nation crumbled under the heavy hand of Hugo Chavez.

Promises of equality, happiness, and growth were made to the people.  Only misery followed.

Carlos was declared an enemy of the state when he took a stand for Venezuelan students at home and abroad. 

Carlos recalls the day he became an American citizen as one of the happiest days of his life.

Carlos sees a disturbing trend in the United States towards the support of socialism.  Proponents do not understand what they are hoping to bring to America.

Carlos uses his voice to be a platform for America, even running for office in Utah.  "America is not a dream.  America is a miracle."

Carlos has a love and enthusiasm for America that is contagious.
